Kids Club (1 March)

Boyz rangu vuvuzela para-rarira-para-rarira, that may sound like an old forgotten language. This is a celebration song for the boys during kids clubs, it is in Shona one of the local languages.

Kids clubs have been a revelation to us with the last club being attended by 72 children, giving an average attendance of 74 over the last two kids clubs. The dedicated team of volunteers is really enjoying spending time with the children. Some even walk far to get to the planning meetings. Kids clubs are aimed at providing Psycho-Social Support and discipleship for the children. The Psycho-Social approach looks at giving support to orphans and vulnerable children through play, experiences and games. Through play, the children are able to identify and face emotions that impact them through life, and are given opportunities to explore their feelings and deal with them.
