Knaresborough Support Group 'Sixties Night'
		Diners at Park Grove Restaurant 60's Night
Knaresborough Support Group 60's Night Our main fund raising event for 2010 was a 60's night held at Park Grove Methodist Church on Friday 21st May. Once again Veronica, Margaret and Carolyn prepared a very appetising meal for us with Chicken wrapped in ham and served with salad and a creamy cheese sauce as the main course and a choice of 4 different puddings for desert. Our entertainment for this year's fundraiser was provided by local singer Danielle Pedel and her boy friend Daniel Knott. The music they sang for us included some from the 60's and others from well known West End shows, and the young couple certainly did us proud. Around 50 folk shared this very enjoyable evening and together with generous donations made by folk unable to attend we raised a magnificent £855 and hearty vote of thanks go to all who supported the event and of course to all who helped in any way.
