Our loving Heavenly .Father, praise is not far from our lips as we begin our prayer time. You are always good to us. Your love towards us is constant and sure. We thank you for answered prayer in these past months (name those worries of the past that have been resolved ..o..oo ), and we know that we can rely upon you for our future security. Nothing is ever too trivial for you to be interested in or ever too large for you to be able to cope with. As we approach the traditional time of holidays, help us to remember to take enough time out of our busy schedules to rest our minds and our bodies and to spend time alone with you just as Jesus did. Each of our churches have special priorities and needs; and at this I time of year, after our celebration of the birth of the church at Pentecost with the coming of your Holy spirit on all people for all time, we pray for own church. We remember our ministers and leaders and we pray for Gail and David as they commit themselves to lifelong service at their ordinations. We pray for our members and worshippers and all the work done and planned in your name and for your sake, currently and in the future. Help us all to keep our eyes fixed on you and your will for each one of us and our church and empower us in our witness to others and those we serve in Jesus' name. . Amen.
